Surf
Costa Rica is home of one of the best countries to surf. Pura Vida (pure life) is a good guideline to what you can expect when you go on a surf trip here. The water temperature stays warm year round and we do have surf spots for every level around Uvita.
Beginner: You learn the basics of paddling, standing, and turning, as well as wave selection and other fundamental skills from your surf instructor.
You are already a surfer? Combinate Spanish and surf. You can rent a board and our partners will show you the best places in this area.
Yoga
You can take part of regular weekly yoga class schedule with Vinyasa Flow yoga classes. These classes are multi-level classes that are physically demanding and students should be in good physical condition in order to participate.
The Vinyasa Flow yoga class links breath and movement through a creative and dynamic sequence of moves and postures, and aims to create heat in the practitioner. The continuous flow strives to relax the breath and our minds, increase endurance and stamina, improve flexibility, and test balance.

The school
At the beginning you will take a placement test, so that you will be placed in a learning group exactly according to your level. The groups are usually between 2-4 students. The teachers (all native speaker) on site have many years of experience and you will experience varied classes with many exercises so that you get closer to the language quickly.
Accommodation
Host families:
The host family is carefully selected by the school and the cooperation has existed for years. During the morning you will be in the language school in the afternoon you will be able to put your knowledge into practice. You will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner and once a week, there is a laundry service. Here you can get to know the local cuisine and culture. Your host family is up to 15 minutes away by foot. On the first day you will be taken to school by your host parents. The people of Costa Rica are very hospitable and like to learn about other and new cultures. Therefore some pictures of your home town and your home country as well as specialties typical for your country are very suitable as presents.

In Uvita you have the option to choose between a host family and accommodation in a house for language students and interns. Experience your time in Costa Rica with other travelers, get to know new people and experience your PURA VIDA. You will receive breakfast and dinner from a local host mother.
