Each week you will have half a day free on Saturday, Sunday free and most of Tuesday and Friday. Sometimes we have games on Sunday when we are in a tournament, but we will be able to let you know the game schedule ahead of time. As volunteer will help 5 days a week. Usually training will be at the local soccer field or gym. Somethimes you will make training at the beach.

Be prepared to do a little bit of everything! One of our core values is that everything is important. Some days we will be marking the field for the big game, teaching English to our players, preparing trainings, performing personalized training, leading physical training sessions, etc. The key to keep in mind is that EVERY thing we do is of great importance. You will work alongside and under the leadership of our coaching staff. One key to your success will be to develop proactive leadership skills. We will schedule out a lot of things with you, but we welcome new ideas!

Accommodation: You will be in a volunteer house. Rooms are very well equipped and you will have dorm room (double or 3/4-bed room). Single rooms are available on request and with an extra fee. You will share a bathroom with other volunteers. The accommodation is about 10-15 minutes by bicycle from the project. At your accommodation you do reseive 2 tipcial meals a day.

Arriving: Our team will pick you up at San Jose Airport. One of our team will pick you up and bring you to the bus station in San Jose. With the bus you will go direct to your location in Costa Rica. Please take some cash for the bus with you. The bus costs US$14-18. The bus will take about 3,5 to 4 hours. We can organize a pick up between 6-11am. In case you arrive later our driver do offer a add on package on extra costs with one day overnight close to the airport at a host family. Please let us know if you would like to use that package.
