Wildcat project in South Africa
Duration of stay: at least 2 weeks, up to 3 months possible
Start of project: every Monday, orientation course starts: Friday
On the farm there is wildlife such as: lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos and rhinos. As part of the project you will help animals which can’t survive in the wild anymore and you will rear young animals to later bring them to a preserve and enable them to live a free life. An animal shelter for injured and traumatized wildlife is currently being developed.
In the project you will undertake tasks such as: feeding the animals, helping with building of new compounds, cleaning the compounds and playing with the animals. Especially the youngest animals are looking forward to an exciting day.
Tipical day as a volunteer in Big Cat Sanctuary:
You will be working 5-6 days out of the 7, with the 7th being your day off to do what you woulld like.

Bed and bedding provided. The three bedroom farm house is within walking distance to the main lodge. There is a fully functional kitchen for making of own private meals, two bathrooms and an extra bathroom facility at the camp site. 2 – 8 volunteers live in a room with shared bathroooms. Volunteers will receive 3 meals a day.
